Finality

Something can no longer be reversed or changed after a certain point in time. In a blockchain, the assurance that cryptocurrency transactions cannot be altered, reversed, or canceled upon completion. Finality is the measure of how much time a crypto network user has to wait for a reasonable guarantee that a particular transaction(s) on the crypto blockchain will not be changed or canceled. This time measure is determined by the blockchain’s latency level; the faster the latency, the faster a transaction’s finality.
