Proof of Authority

A reputation-based consensus mechanism, used particularly in private blockchains, that leverages the value of identities to incentivize validating nodes to secure the network. In this model, all blocks and transactions are verified by pre-approved network participants who serve as system moderators. Additionally, a PoA model network only relies on a limited number of block validators, making it a highly scalable system.
